Killarney and Area Foodbank Gives Back
Working Toward a Brighter Future
About Us
At the Killarney and Area Foodbank, we aim to provide our community with the resources they need to stay healthy and happy. We understand that hunger can be a huge challenge, and we're here to help. Our team of volunteers work tirelessly to ensure that our customers receive top-quality and nutritious meals, no matter what their circumstances may be.
Our goal is to provide short-term food assistance to families and individuals in need, in a manner that promotes dignity, health, and community. We believe that all people should have access to healthy and nourishing food, no matter their financial situation.
Whether you're experiencing financial difficulties or are just looking for assistance, we're here to ensure that you have access to the resources you need to thrive.
The foodbank is a registered Canadian charity, with the non-profit number 892825449RR0001

The Prairie Patch
Our garden is an important part of our effort to provide fresh, nutritious produce to our clients. With the help of Prairie Mountain Health's Healthy Together Now program, we were able to create this garden and grow a variety of seasonal vegetables. These vegetables are used to supplement the non-perishable food items we receive, and help us provide a well-rounded selection of food to our clients.
Westoba Credit Union has designated funds to support organizations in need in our communities, and help alleviate some of the strain on their services. Each Westoba branch chose community resources to benefit from these donations.
If you are in need of support, we encourage you to reach out to these community organizations; you can find more information here:
