Our Christmas Cheer program was born from a simple belief - that everyone deserves the magic of Christmas, and every family deserves to feel the warmth of this special season.
Through the kindness of people just like you, we partner with local families to bring the gift of joy. From wrapped presents under the tree to a warm meal shared together, your generosity transforms the holidays. And in return, we find that the act of giving fills our own hearts in ways we never quite expect.
To the families we serve: you are not alone this season. We are here to support you through what can be a difficult time of year. This Christmas, we invite you to be part of our family - and help us spread a little more cheer to the world around us.

How it Works
At the heart of our Christmas Cheer program is a unique gift-giving experience. Rather than selecting gifts on behalf of the families we serve, we collect donations from our generous community and distribute Killarney bucks and gift cards from local businesses directly to each recipient. This means every family has the freedom and dignity to choose gifts that are truly meaningful to them - because no one knows what brings joy to a family better than the family itself. And the giving doesn't end there. By partnering with local businesses, every dollar donated stays within our community, strengthening the local economy and spreading Christmas Cheer far and wide. It is generosity with purpose, and a celebration of community in every sense of the word.
Who is Eligible
Our Christmas Cheer program is open to everyone. Whether you are a family, an individual, a senior, or anywhere in between, we believe that this season belongs to all. Simply self-register with us to take part. You do not need to be a foodbank customer or meet restrictive criteria. If you are a member of our community and could use a little extra cheer this Christmas, we welcome you with open arms. Because kindness should never come with conditions.
