Volunteers are the Heart of Our Mission...

Together We Can

Our team at the Killarney & Area Foodbank is devoted to fighting hunger in our community — and we couldn't do it without the help of dedicated volunteers. There are many ways to get involved, including foodbank operations such as receiving and distributing food, special campaigns for collecting and sorting donations, and board membership. Whatever your availability or skills, there is a role for you.

Join us in our mission to ensure that no one goes hungry in Killarney and the surrounding area. Every hour you give makes a real difference to your neighbours. We'd love to hear from you — contact us today to learn more about current volunteer opportunities.

Organize a Food Drive

At the Killarney & Area Foodbank, our dedicated team works tirelessly to ensure that anyone in need of food assistance receives the support they deserve. We rely on the generosity of individuals, businesses, and organizations to keep our programs running and our community thriving — and food drives are one of the best ways to help.

Each year on October 31st, the Killarney Mennonite Church and Lakeview Church host our Annual Halloween Food Drive, bringing our community together to collect much-needed donations. We also welcome food drives organized by local businesses, schools, community groups, and individuals throughout the year.

Interested in organizing a food drive? We'd love to support you. Contact us today to find out how to get started.
