Kindness In Action
Be part of the solution to food insecurity in our community by donating to the Killarney & Area Foodbank. We gratefully accept food donations of almost any type, monetary donations, and donations of services or items in kind. Every contribution, regardless of size, helps us continue our mission to provide meaningful support and assistance to community members. We thank you for your generosity and making a commitment to making a difference.
Food Donations
At the Killarney & Area Foodbank, we are able to provide food through the generous donations of our local community. We gratefully accept food donations of nearly any type, provided that all items are unopened and in good condition. We invite those with a garden to consider contributing a portion of their harvest to benefit those we serve. In addition to food items, we also accept toiletries such as soap, shampoo, and laundry detergent, as we recognize that personal hygiene is just as essential as nourishment.
Food donations are generally accepted at our location Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., as well as through our conveniently placed collection bins located throughout the community. Alternatively, you may contact our Operations Manager at or to arrange a drop-off time. Every donation, regardless of size, makes a meaningful difference to those we serve. We are appreciative of the continued generosity and support of our community.

We are pleased to accept donations by cheque, e-transfer, or in person. A charitable receipt for income tax purposes may be issued for all donations of $10.00 or more. In-Kind Donations
In-kind donations provide businesses and individuals with a unique opportunity to give back to the community by donating their goods or services in exchange for a charitable tax receipt. In-kind donations are particularly helpful in assisting with building maintenance and upkeep. We also welcome donations of shopping carts, small appliances, cookware, and similar items for our lending library. If you have a donation that you believe would benefit our organization, please do not hesitate to contact us. The kindness and generosity of our community is what makes our work possible.
