After retiring to Killarney I wanted to assist the community in ways that would use my experience. I started with Christmas Cheer (during covid) then became a volunteer board member with the Killarney Foodbank.
I have been involved in the tax industry for quite some time, and I have decided to use my expertise to help out in the community. As a volunteer with the Community Volunteer Income Tax program, I am proud to offer my tax preparation services to those in need in our community, free of charge. Whether you are a Foodbank client, part of Killarney Services for Seniors or live in the Killarney area, this service may be for you!
I work to ensure that those who need help with their tax returns can receive it at no cost. As a non-profit organization, the Foodbank was able to secure a grant from the Canada Revenue Agency to cover expenses like paper and postage, they also provided a laptop that is only used for this program, so you can be assured that your information is handled with great care and confidentiality. Feel free to contact me if you need help with your taxes this year.
